Advantages of Sole proprietorship / partnership:

Disadvantages of Sole proprietorship / partnership:

• Owner and partners are wholly liable for the company's liabilities

Requirements of setting up a Sole proprietorship / partnership:

Sole proprietorship:

Owner is 18 years old or above. If the owner is not a Hong Kong resident, a Hong Kong resident agent must be appointed Registered address must be in Hong Kong

Unlimited partnership:

At least 2 partners, but not more than 20 partners Partners must be 18 years old or above At least 1 partner is Hong Kong resident Registered address must be in Hong Kong
