A private company must have a company secretary. If one of the directors has the required knowledge, the director can be appointed as the company secretary. If the company has only one director, the sole director cannot be a company secretary.
If the company secretary is a natural person, he or she must ordinarily reside in Hong Kong. If the company secretary is a body corporate, the address of its registered or principal office should be in Hong Kong.

The information of the shareholders & directors of Hong Kong Company can be searched by the public. If the shareholders/ directors want to keep the information confidential, they can use the nominee shareholder/ director services. Nominee can be us or others appointed by you.
Please note: company may be required to provide information of the true shareholders/ directors, when opening bank accounts or in other transactions.
A limited company incorporated in Hong Kong has perpetual succession unless it was wound-up/ deregistered under Companies Ordinance. A limited company incorporated in Hong Kong need to pay business registration fee & file annual return annually.
